We can’t guarantee you’ll see the northern lights but there’s a chance 😊 this was last night in the garden 😍 I’ve travelled through the night before to chase them north and missed on many occasions so very lucky to have been awoken to see this 😁

This is the best breakfast I’ve cooked ALL YEAR! Some crazy cats got fruit platters but this would be my recommendation for post Hogmanay celebrations…

The new ‘York Place to Newhaven’ line is now under live daytime testing with the service open to the public in the next month. This is an extension of the current line.
You’ll be able to get a tram from the Airport to the new McDonald Road Tram Stop and walk 2 minutes round the corner to our door! The journey will take approximately 42 minutes.
You’ll also be able to hop on the tram down to the Royal Yacht or the Fishmarket at Newhaven.
Single: £2:00
Airport Return: £9:50
Taxi: £30 and 25-40 mins depending on traffic

Just round the corner on Leith Walk there are a bunch of interesting bars, today you’ll find us at the Bier Hoose 🍺 there’s also an interesting story about this bar’s history with being on the border of Leith and Edinburgh! And yes it doesn’t always rain in Scotland! ☀️

Just a half hour drive from us, you can pick up a toastie from I.J. Mellis Cheesemongers on the way and take a walk in the Pentland Hills, a nice way to look at Edinburgh from a different viewpoint 😊
