North Alves Holiday Park is a friendly, family run Caravan Park and Campsite offering an idyllic set This includes our nature meadow/pond area.

Welcome to our friendly, family run Caravan Park and Campsite page. We offer an idyllic setting for your holiday in beautiful Morayshire. North Alves Holiday Park is set in the grounds of a once fully working 19th century farm. It is surrounded by stunning open countryside and located 1 mile from the lovely ancient pine forest and beach at Roseisle

Our aim is to offer all of our visitors a real,

rural feel during a stay with us at North Alves, keeping to the true farming roots of the site and the surrounding area. Further afield, being situated approxiamately 1 hours drive from Inverness (The gateway to the Highlands), Aviemore and The Cairngorms National Park, the campsite is a wonderful base to venture further afield for the day if you wish. There are also various activities available locally for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits like walking, water sports, golfing, quad biking as well as many more...

If however you prefer a more relaxing pastime like wildlife watching, the Moray Firth is famous for it's various sightings, including dolphin and seals. Perhaps even a visit to one or more of the many distilleries located on the world famous Moray Malt Whisky Trail. We are perfectly located for all these activities and many more and are an ideal base for touring and exploring Moray and the Highlands.

Choices are:

Chilli with cheese on plain rice or potato wedges.

Chicken Fajita loaded nachos.

Beef burritos topped with salsa and cheese.

(All of the above are served with a side of Mexican style salad.)

Saturdays resident takeaway night this week is Noodle Bowls.

Inspired by Far Eastern street food you can sample either:

Honey chilli chicken noodles, (Sweet and sticky honey chilli sauce with only a mild chilli kick. More sweet than spicy)

OR

Spicy beef and pepper noodles (thin sliced beef and peppers marinaded in a spicy sauce, wee bit more of a kick this one).

Vegetarian option available just ask.

Once again just £5.00 per bowl.

Good morning everyone, or not such a good morning for us 🙈

Today we have had to call out the plumber with his drain cleaner (at great expense) due to a blocked drain. We were alerted by a couple of our occupied static vans they were experiencing a slow soak away from waste water/toilets.

On investigation it has been found that there was indeed a blockage. As per picture a 4” toilet seal, so called toilet friendly wipes and a full bunch of grapes 🍇! Yes you read it right a bunch of grapes

Can we please ask that onsite, no one flushes ANYTHING ELSE except toilet paper down your toilet. Especially these so called toilet friendly wipes and FRUIT 🤬 which were culprits in this blockage never mind the toilet seal!! And if you are looking at carrying out any alterations please employ a qualified tradesman to do these jobs and not carry out these jobs yourself if not appropriately qualified!

Although we will probably never find out exactly who did this, this expense of call out etc is going to be passed on to the 3 statics involved to sort out between themselves as we will not be paying for this expense nor will we in the future if any other similar occurrences happen!

What’s going on here at North Alves today?

The guys from Forres Tree Services are here for their annual visit doing some essential tree work for us and also Joe’s & Jackie’s lovely new ABI Keswick is on its pitch and all ready for decking.

I have attached some pics taken of the static to show an example of the type of static caravan we can source for you and some sneaky pics of the guys doing their stuff 😉
