Evening all 🙋‍♀️

It’s been lovely to be back in the garden here in Elie 🤗

It’s been such a hot dry summer and the grass suffered a bit but everything is starting to look better now the temperatures are dropping.

There’s still lots of colour in the border.but I’ll need to replace a few plants that I’ve lost with the heat 😞

A lovely day in Elie today the village is busy with holiday makers.

It’s Scarecrow Weekend a great atmosphere in the village lots of fun for children and adults alike seeing all the scarecrows
There’s even a Scarecrow from the village shop on his bike going about doing his delivery’s 🤗

What another glorious day here in Newhaven ☀️

The roses are starting to join the spring display. Lupins and foxgloves are the star at the moment and peonies ready to burst open 😊🌸🌸💖

Another beautiful morning here in Newhaven

I love a wander down the path in this pebble area of the garden.

The simple seat against the wall constructed with large stones is a perfect quiet area to relax with a cuppa.

The big apple tree in the centre of the garden is in flower 😂😂on the sunny side 😉I don’t know how old this tree is but I’m guessing about 50 we’ve had the house for ten years and every year it is laden with apples 🍏 and I don’t think it’s going to disappoint this year either 🌸🌸🥰
