Just to let everyone know that major roadworks are happening in and around Ellesmere from Monday 2nd June to Thursday 3rd July. The A495 in Ellesmere from Sparbridge roundabout to Newton (which is the area situated after turning left at tunnel bank for Whitchurch,before you get to Welshampton) will be closed daily from 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. People towing from Shrewsbury should come via Wem and the B5063. From Wirral/North Wales go via Chester, A41 to Whitchurch, then A495 signed Welshampton.
For non towing vehicles please contact our Office and ask for an alternative route to/from Ellesmere, albeit around the lanes via Colemere, Spunhill and Lee but shorter than the official diversion.
