Our new outdoor area is also available for eating out and drinks... � What was once the Ythan Hotel underwent a seven hundred & fifty thousand refurbishment and redevelopment, which opened to the public on the 22nd April 2014 as the Newburgh Inn. Under the direction of the team that has made such a success of multi award winning Mains of Scotstown Inn at Bridge of Don, great food is at the heart o

f our Inn, focusing on great “pub food” with a few inventive surprises from our dedicated team of chefs. Local produce will play an all important part of all food, including herbs from the newly planted garden, complimented by our great selection of over 100 malt whiskies, extensive selection of spirits, 4 cask ales plus a great selection of craft & draught beers and lagers. Our Sunday Carvery with its great value roasts has become a ‘must do’ event. We also have 11 high quality bedrooms, all with comfortable hypnos kingsize beds, powerful en-suite showers, large flat screen TVs, free WIFI, free sky movies and more, plus all the other facilities you would expect from a 4* Inn.

Customer Notice:
After 8 years of serving 1000’s of meals, drinks and rooms at Newburgh Inn, and after great deliberation we have decided we will not be renewing our lease at the hotel.

There were a great many contributing factors which have made this the right time, from the pandemic recovery, difficult market conditions, nationwide recruitment crisis to brexit price hikes and more. Therefore, now that we have informed our staff and suppliers over the last week it is with somewhat sadness and excitement that as of the 11th of November there will be a new leaseholder at Newburgh Inn.

Though it will be very sad to leave after all these years at the hotel, having achieved more than a 15 National awards as well as a great reputation with awesome reviews, it has to be said however, we are most definitely looking forward to a more relaxing less demanding life ahead.. 😁

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your custom over the last 8 years it is very much appreciated. Thank you ☺️

And finally, good luck and best wishes to the new leaseholder.
