✨ 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧! ✨

This October, Enniskillen celebrates one of its most famous literary connections with WildeDay – a vibrant celebration of the life and work of Oscar Wilde and his links to Ireland’s only island town. 📚🎭

Launching on Friday 16 October, Oscar Wilde’s birthday, with the main programme taking place on Saturday 17 October, 10am–4pm, WildeDay will bring the streets, businesses and public spaces of Enniskillen to life.

Inspired by the spirit of Bloomsday, expect around 20 events across the town, with music, drama, dance, readings and performances – and plenty of Victorian flair. Keep your eyes peeled and you might even spot the man himself! 👀🎩

Community-led, accessible and full of fun, WildeDay is a chance to celebrate Enniskillen and Fermanagh’s rich literary heritage while bringing it to life in a fresh and engaging way.

It's back 🎣🐟

🎣 Fermanagh’s fishing festival is back – and it could reel in £130,000 for the local economy.

The return of the Fermanagh Cup Fishing Festival is bringing anglers from across England – and as far afield as Germany – to the county for a five-day competition on Ross Lough.

With 65 competitors spending almost a week in Fermanagh on accommodation, food, hospitality and other local services, organisers estimate the event could generate around £130,000 for the local economy.

And with ambitions to almost double the field next year, the future looks promising for Fermanagh’s angling tourism.
