Nestled in the gardens of this small-holding in rural Devon, Jessie's Cabin is perfect for a relaxing retreat. Escape the busy every day for a holiday surrounded by nature which you can enjoy from your own terrace. This eco-friendly log cabin is fitted with a soakaway drainage and compost toilet system.
This hand built wooden cabin is situated in your own private and enclosed garden of this small holding with direct access to a paddock, also available for rent.
Jessie"s Cabin is built for two guests (ability to accommodate one additional small infant) or pitch a tent or two for additional guests. It's kitted out with everything you might need for a relaxing countryside escape. It has its own kitchen area with oven, grill and a single hob. Toaster and kettle, shower and a hand-built king-size bed. Although Jessie's Cabin consists of just the one room, the space is easily adaptable for both day and night living.
Eco-friendly bathroom & kitchen products are provided, along with complimentary hot beverages, so you can enjoy a cosy cuppa on your veranda. Should you require additional produce, we are happy to quote you for a luxury hamper and can include a selection of local cheeses, meats and artisan breads, all produced locally.
You might prefer to cook outside, enjoying a barbecue around the fire pit on a sunny afternoon or evening. And there is a peaceful sheltered terrace from which to watch the wildlife and relax with a glass of something as you watch the sun go down over the fields. Without WiFi and just the horses & chickens for neighbours, Jessie's Cabin is the perfect place to switch off and reconnect with nature and each other.
Located in the heart of Devon, Jessie's Cabin makes the ideal base for exploring the county, with beaches and moors all easily accessible. Go for spectacular windswept walks on Dartmoor and Exmoor or visit the sandy beaches on the North and South coasts of the beautiful county of Devon. Stop off at one of the many National Trust properties such as Killerton House or Castle Drogo. The city of Exeter, just 3 miles away, makes for an exciting day trip with lots to discover, from the beautiful cathedral to medieval underground passages.

We are about 45 mins from the North and south coast beaches and around 1 hour from both Exmoor and Dartmoor national parks. There are many and varied activities available in all of these areas for guests who would like to explore a little further from Jessie’s Cabin. 8 min drive from Exeter St David's station with local bus services passing approximately 4 times each hour.
