Well. A huge thank you to all the local chaps who took the time and made such a considerable effort to create millionaires shortbread in the battle to win The Crown Tankard at this year’s Exford & Simonsbath Flower & Produce show.

Malcolm Wild (2nd) and Adam Tedstone (3rd) came very close but it seemed a certain person was unwilling to loosen his grip on the cup…

So massive congratulations once again to Simon Brown who strode forth and not only won the class but also the really big cup for the best exhibit in the entire show.

Here come the Summer Bank Holiday shows!

There’s so much going on here in Exford this weekend. And what better way to celebrate your wins, recover from all your hard work, wonder why your dog decided to be quite so rude to a judge and enjoy time with friends than mulling it all over with one of our delicious Sunday Roasts!?!

(They had even produced their own poster, so how could we say no?! 😁)
