Three charming well-equipped dog-friendly cottages in secluded location close to Exford village centre. Court Farm Holiday Cottages in the heart of Exmoor National Park are ideal for walkers, riders, cyclists, dogs and their owners and anyone who wants to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the true English co

untryside. Our cottages all have wood burning stoves as well as central heating and are well-equipped and have wifi. Mountain Ash and Rowan cottages have two bedrooms and sleep up to four adults, Snowdrop cottage is a one-bedroom cottage sleeping two adults. All are dog-friendly with their own gardens and miles of walking direct from the front door. Positioned on a bridleway adjacent to the River Exe, our cottages are also ideal if you want to bring your horse as we can provide stabling and grazing by arrangement. The excellent food pubs and village shops in Exford are less than a 10 minute walk away while the beaches of North Devon are only a 40 minute drive away. Whether you are seeking an active or relaxing break you can be assured of a warm welcome at Court Farm.

These guests stayed in Rowan Cottage last week and left this 5* Google review. It's always good to know that we must be doing something right. 😁

"Wonderful cottage. Very well maintained and clean. Excellent facilities for self catering . We had our dog with us who was safe and secure in the back garden and loved the walks in the local area. Our hosts were superb. They welcomed us on arrival and were available throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble. We had the best time and will definitely be back . Thank you David and Michelle for making us feel so welcome

Happy 2026 everyone. I hate to start the New Year with a rant. I parked at the top of Winsford Hill to do a walk with the dogs and my sister and her partner John and found the remains of a firework party just left. 2 boxes, plastic sparkler holders, torn plastic blowing around.
By all means enjoy yourselves but please take your rubbish home!

And for those of you worrying we might be selling up - we considered it but have decided to stay put. There's nowhere quite like Exmoor and Court Farm in particular 😁🎄

BTW we still have Christmas availability in all 3 cottages (£80 per night Snowdrop Cottage, £127 per night Mountain Ash and Rowan). Minimum stay 5 nights. Snowdrop also available over new year but the other two are occupied.
