Looks like we’re in for sunshine this weekend — on a Bank Holiday no less! Who would have thought it.

If you’re at Devon Cliffs this weekend, I hope you’ve packed your suncream and sunglasses because it’s set to be a good one.

What’s your plan to keep cool? I’d be heading straight down to the beach… playing in the sand, cooling off in the waves. Maybe treating myself to an ice cream while sitting on the warm sand.

And honestly, what better way to spend a Bank Holiday than on the beach — sun, sea and sandcastles!

The sun is shining and the birds are singing. I just had to stop for a moment and take it all in.

If you need a moment of calm, turn the sound up and enjoy a few seconds of tranquility from the little forest just behind our caravan. One of the many reasons this park is my happy place — there’s magic tucked into the simplest moments.

We spotted this little guy outside a few weeks ago with some friends — clearly even the local wildlife know the best spot to relax at Devon Cliffs.

The wait is over! DC is now officially open for the start of the 2026 season and we’re so excited to welcome everyone back. Whether you’re staying with us or enjoying another lovely spot on park, we hope you have an amazing time soaking up the sea air and making new memories.

Only 4 more sleeps to go!

Devon Cliffs reopens this Friday for the start of the 2026 season, and we’re so excited to be back.

Preparations are well underway for our first guests this weekend, but we still made time for a walk down to the beach. After the January storms, the coastline has changed a little, but it’s still as beautiful as ever. It felt so good to be back in my happy place, watching the waves roll in.

Here at Devon Cliffs, autumn is just starting to show its beautiful colours. The trees are still mostly green, but hints of amber and rust are peeking through… and yes, the pumpkin lattes are calling!

As the school holidays have come to a close, we’ve been reflecting on the past few weeks. What was your highlight of the summer? 🌞

We've been enjoying a beach day today — the sun on our backs, making mermaids in the sand, and splashing in the waves. The school holidays are off to a great start!

On the beach at Sandy Bay, you can spot all sorts of wildlife — from seabirds to marine mammals, and crustaceans hiding in the rockpools.

On Sunday, we spotted a cormorant diving amongst the waves. It’s always a bit of a guessing game trying to work out where they might pop up next — like a game of peekaboo.

I eventually managed to catch this very brief video of the bird before it disappeared underwater again. (I don’t think I’ll be becoming a wildlife videographer any time soon!)

We've had some gorgeous sunshine this year, but yesterday brought in the rain. At times, the rain was so heavy we could barely see the cliff face in front of us. But that didn't stop us from enjoying the view and the sound of the sea. 🌊

South Beach Café is one of our favorite spots here at Haven’s Devon Cliffs, with its stunning views over Sandy Bay. Whether it’s basking in the sunshine or watching the waves roll in on a rainy day, it’s always the perfect place to sit back, sip a drink, and soak in the beauty of the coast.

There’s something so calming about sitting in the undercover outdoor seating area, listening to the rain, and enjoying the seaside serenity.

Who else loves a cozy rainy-day moment by the sea? 🌧️
