Some days are harder than others. Club ride out today to pay our respects at the spot where our brother Gary “ Papa Smurf” Lodge had his last ride. It was wonderful to see so many tributes at the roadside. The club will sort something more permanent shortly so our brother is properly remembered.

Whilst it’s impossible to thank you to everyone who contributed to Gary’s final farewell, we must pay respects to our Black & White brotherhood for their love and support. We are so grateful for your help. We couldn’t have done it without you ❤️🏴🏳️

From the bottom of our hearts thank you to everyone who came along to Gary’s fundraiser at The Park, Exmouth last night. We raised a massive £3k towards Gary’s farewell and his family. Last night demonstrated the strength of the Black and White family and the wider biking community and the value of family and friends. Special mentions to Satans Slaves MC East Devon for arranging the event, Tonya & Pete for putting up with us (again) and VCMC Swansea for coming a long way to support us. We love and appreciate you all ❤️🏴🏳️🏴🏳️

The picture is Gary’s daughters being presented with Gary’s waistcoat which we rescued and restored to the family ❤️

It is with great sadness that we said goodbye to our brother Gary “Papa Smurf” Lodge yesterday. He was a huge part of the club and his larger than life personality and sense of humour will be forever missed. Ride free brother. Until we meet again ❤️❤️🏴🏳️
