Our race day 'behind the scenes tours' and private 'Head-On Box' are both hugely popular exclusive experiences. For Ladies Day, Sunday 31 May, we have a couple of spaces left on the tour and, amazingly, still have the Head-On Box available.

With both you receive Day Member entry badges, race cards and a hot drinks voucher. As part of the tour you will also have a visit to the Parade Ring and the opportunity, as a small group, to select the best turned out horse in the second race.

We love receiving great reviews, especially when our guests combine a stay at our caravan / campsite and a raceday. Helen C had this to say ..

Excellent touring park, especially if you want to enjoy a day at the races. We were there for the Bank Holiday racing and family fun day on 4 May, which was brilliant.

The staff at the racecourse are really friendly and it's excellent value for money, especially if you stay 2 nights over a raceday the costs include entrance to the races. It is a short walk into town, which is perfect for pubs and restaurants.

We will definitely be visiting again.

Norfolk National Day is fast approaching - Monday 4 May. This is promising to be a great day of racing, supported by Chestnut Group, with our highest prize money of the year! We also have a funfair, lambs to feed as well as live music and entertainment. Many races are celebrating local Norfolk charities, and there will be a variety of stalls to visit on the day.

Your ticket allows access to all areas and if you buy online in advance it is only £15 for an Adult (on the gate price is £20). Children are free - no ticket required. Gates open 11.30am, First race 2.18pm.

Our Racing TV Raceday on 13 April helped Dereham Meeting Point raise a fantastic £6,500 so they can continue their great work supporting those over 55 and disabled members of the community 👏.

Our Norfolk National Raceday on BH Monday 4 May, supported by Chestnut Group, is celebrating several great local charities - EACH The Nook, Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Heritage House, Norfolk Community Foundation and The Break.

It promises to be a fun day celebrating all things Norfolk with fantastic racing (two Grade 2 races and The Norfolk National) for one 'all areas' ticket price of £15, when purchased online in advance 👉 fakenhamracecourse.co.uk. As ever children are free and well behaved dogs on short leads are welcomed. On the gate price is £20.

Lovely to see so many at our Aldiss Easter Monday Raceday - can you spot yourself in the crowds? We would love to see your photos from the day and will pick a few who will be sent free tickets for our Norfolk National Raceday on Bank Holiday Monday 4 May 🏇.

We were thrilled to hear that Riding for the Disabled rasied over £2,000 from their stall and bucket collection 🎉.

We also received great feedback from Matthew, one of our Raceday Experience Tour guests, 'As a big racing fan it was great to go behind the scenes and see everything that makes racing tick along. It was a personal highlight being in the parade ring and choosing the best turned out. I look forward to returning to Fakenham again - what a splendid course'.

These tours are availabe and suitable for all - first time and regular race goers at every raceday, though numbers are very limited and your place needs to be booked in advance online under 'Special Raceday Packages'.

We are now on countdown to our super fun Aldiss Easter Monday Raceday on 6 April which includes a funfair and the Easter Bunny handing out Easter treats .

Gates open 11am, Shetland Pony racing from 1pm (2 races), NH Jump racing from 2.15pm. If using the Gallows entrance please ensure you are in before 12.50pm before the track shuts for the Shetlands. it will then reopen at 1.20pm until before our first main race. An alternative entrance is NR21 7NA.

Don't forget you can buy cheaper tickets in advance online (for group bookings you can save up to 15% off) - www.fakenhamracecourse.co.uk.

Children have free entry and no tickets required - they will receive a wristband at the gates. Well behaved dogs on short leads welcomed, but not allowed in buildings or on the Grandstand steppings for Health & Safety reasons.
