Community is a vital part of our identity at YES Hire, and we take any opportunity we can to give back!

Graham High School in Falkirk had 12 tonnes of compost they needed to move into their new internal quad garden, so we were more than happy to provide them with some wheelbarrows to make this mammoth task a little bit easier!

We can't wait to see the transformation in the summer when everything is in bloom!

WE'RE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE OUR NEW DEPOT IN INVERNESS - HARBOUR RD

This latest opening marks another exciting milestone for YES HIRE, bringing our network across Scotland to 5 depots nationwide, including Falkirk, Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and now Inverness.

Following the successful launches of our Glasgow and Edinburgh depots last October, our expanded network is now strategically positioned and within close reach of all major Scottish cities, allowing us to deliver an even faster, more reliable service to our customers across the country.

We're also delighted to welcome Ami Dow as Depot Manager, supported by Kathryn, David, and Stephen, to the YES HIRE family.

Your Equipment Solutions doubles in size!

We are so excited to announce that we have acquired two new depots one in each of Scotland's biggest cities, Glasgow and Edinburgh!

With footholds in these cities and easy access to the M8, we are now even better equipped to service clients in and around these areas! To support this expansion we have invested over £3 Million into new equipment across all of our depots, including a fleet of 70 Kubota excavators, significant volumes of alloy tower, a wide selection of manual handling product, and much more! More to follow on these developments soon.

To celebrate this exciting venture, we will be hosting a series of open days in the coming weeks, allowing visitors to tour the facilities, explore the expanded product range, and meet the team! Dates for these open days will be announced very soon!

We're absolutely delighted to announce that we have extended our partnership with Dundee United!⚽

We're thrilled to be able to build upon our long-standing partnership with the club, and continue to support them in various ways, including teaming up with the first-team for the 'YES Beat The Trap' Challenge!

It's been great to see the newly refurbished YES Sports Bar become a great hub for supporters, and we cannot wait to see what the next two seasons bring!

We are now accepting applications for a Credit Controller Role at our Falkirk depot.

Candidates Must Have;

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Significant Experience Working In Credit Control
- Effective Communication, Organisational, & Prioritisation Skills
- A Valid Driving License & Able To Travel Between The Falkirk & Glasgow Areas

While Not Necessary, It Is Preferred That The Successful Candidate Will Have;

- Experience With Xero
- Experience With Syrinx
- Knowledge Of The Tool & Plant Hire Industry

- Ensuring prompt payment from customers
- Contacting customers about overdue payments via telephone/email
- Checking credit records
- Managing customer files
- Reconciling payments
- Monitoring the debtors & making decisions on how to action the debtors.

- Liasing with other team members/managers
- Investigate & resolve issues for non payment
- Ad hoc duties as required to support manager
- Accounts Payable duties – processing/approving invoices
- Raise credit notes
- Invoicing

We’re incredibly proud to announce the promotion of Ryan Johnstone to Branch Director!

Ryan’s journey with YES Hire is a true success story. Starting with us in 2018 on the hire desk, Ryan quickly proved his drive and ability, progressing into sales across the east of Scotland before taking on the challenge of running our Dundee depot in early 2025.

Since then, he has led from the front — putting in the long hours, building a strong team, and transforming Dundee into a thriving, high-performing branch. In a short space of time, Ryan and his team have firmly established the YES Hire brand across the local area and laid the foundations for even bigger things ahead.

This promotion recognises not only the results Ryan has delivered, but the passion, leadership and commitment he brings every day.
