This lovely family have been visiting Falmouth every year for over a decade. We first met them as empty nesters back in 2012 when they stayed at our B&B, , and we instantly hit it off. You get close to people quickly when they’re staying in your B&B – it’s your home and your workplace – and we loved having them.

When this little monkey came along, we “kicked them out” 🤣 – not because we didn’t adore them, but because our house wasn’t exactly kid-friendly. Luckily, thanks to INDIDOG, we still got to see them and spend time together.

And here’s a fun fact: Johnny has liked every single post we’ve ever put out. Every. Single. One. ❤️ It still makes me smile when I see that little heart pop up.

We have so many customers we think the world of – people we’ve seen go from newly married to starting a family – and it’s such a joy to have been part of their journey. Time together that’s never on guard and never in need of our “best behaviour” 🤣 – just genuine friendship.

I can’t believe it’s only 5 weeks left until the end of our season!
We close after The Falmouth Oyster Festival and we will take the winter to paint the whole house inside and out and do some refurbishments so your rooms are tip top and ready for you in 2024.

We’ve had a brilliant summer have you? Can you believe the nights are already drawing in sooner? I’m not loving the short days of winter but I feel very blessed we live just moments from the sea. I promise I’ll post lots of beach photos this winter so maybe I’ll be able to cheer you up. If you promise to tag me into all the lovely big shops on your doorstep! I miss big shops 🤤

Just look at the beautiful mist of the water outside INDIDOG this morning. Our Penthouse Suite guests will be waking up to the mist over the Fal too. But I don’t think they’d appreciate me waking them up to take a photo 🤣

A lovely busy summer is almost to a close. We are open until October 23rd 2022. We have a couple of rooms left for the Falmouth Oyster Festival 13th, 14th, 15th October. All Highcliffe guests get a £10 voucher each to spend at INDIdog our restaurant on Oysters. INDIdog is located right next to the main tent and will be offering a special Oyster menu all weekend and deals on matching cocktails, stout and champagne 🥂
