29/03/26 – Absolute calm so close to the sea, it’s a treasure. Upon arrival, I had the impression that it was a little austere, but very quickly, this feeling disappeared. The room is very large, the bed is sturdy and comfortable, firm without being too hard; I really appreciated the impeccable cleanliness, the size of the shower, with a special mention for the soft, non-slip mat. Being so close to the sea and being able to enjoy absolute calm day and night is a true treasure. Breakfast was excellent and complete; I appreciated the fresh fruit and the quality of the products served. The hosts are welcoming and available to make our stay easier. The parking lot is quite spacious. Thanks to Kate for the great recommendation for eating fish (among other things): The Pebbles, Stokes Bay in Gosport, easily accessible by car, was exactly what I wanted. (Booking.Com).

24/03/26 – Very fun upstairs sitting room and a roomy warm cozy bedroom with the bath attached. Veggies and fried bread with scrambled eggs, great coffee, perfect. (Booking.Com).

Now into 2026 and some January reviews for Trevarner Guest House:

18/01/26 - A good find off the beaten track but facing the Solent. Sole guests but that did not detract from the experience and we were grateful for that. The location is very quiet despite being off the road. The room was comfortable and with a plug in heater against the cold. The dining room is a delight and the breakfast very good. There's a great view over the Solent to the Isle of Wight from the small guest lounge on the top floor. Very handy for a walk along the coast. We will return. (Booking.Com).

03/01/26 - Perfect for a weekend by the beach. The location was excellent and easy to find and offered easy access to walk on the beach. The breakfast was very good and the owners extremely nice. There is also a sun room with lovely views of the sea. (Booking.Com).

05/10/25 - Exceptional, highly recommended! I stayed at Trevarner Guest House in Fareham for one night and honestly, it was perfect. Kate and Tony were such lovely hosts, really welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was super clean, comfortable, and had a great view. Breakfast was delicious and freshly made, you can tell they put real care into everything they do. It’s such a peaceful, friendly place, I only wish I’d stayed longer! I’d definitely come back and would recommend Trevarner Guest House to anyone visiting the area. (Booking.Com).
