Osprey caught a trout earlier today but struggled to fly off with it so decided to eat it in situ.

May is always an interesting month here at Glen Nairn as we welcome the arrival of new life.
Today, we were excited to see a Tawny owl chick emerge from one of our nesting boxes.
The parent was nearby so we didn’t want to hang around too long as the chick was obviously waiting on its lunch!
