NEW — Relaxed Family Sunday Lunch 🩷
We know that for some families, going out for Sunday lunch doesn’t feel particularly relaxing.
If you’ve got a little one who won’t sit still for two hours, wants to get down from the table, talks rather louder than you’d ideally like, or simply isn’t built for quiet restaurant dining, you can spend the entire meal worrying that they’re disturbing everyone else.
So we’re trying something new at The Fludyers.
Once a month, Simpsons will become our Relaxed Family Dining Room for Sunday lunch.

📺 Children’s films and TV on our big screen
🛋️ Sofas facing the screen
🧸 Blankets and a cosy floor area for children who want to sit and watch
👨👩👧👦 Dining tables around the rest of the room
💗 And, most importantly, a room full of other families who know that children don’t always sit quietly!
Children will be welcome to move between their family’s table and the TV area, have a wriggle, make a bit of noise and generally be children without their grown-ups worrying about disturbing the table next door.
This isn’t a crèche, children’s club or supervised play area — we’re not looking after the children and parents and carers remain responsible for them throughout.
We’re simply creating a different kind of dining space where everyone has booked knowing that there will be children around.
So if you’ve ever thought “I’d love to go out for Sunday lunch, but the kids would be a nightmare…”, this one is for you. ❤️
