💙 That’s a wrap for Bluebell’s 2026 season! 💙

And what a lovely way to finish! 🥹✨

Our final guests of the season have checked out, leaving us the most wonderful ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review, describing their stay as “magical”.

And to make it even more special, we’ve earned our Airbnb Superhost status AGAIN! 🏆💕

We’re honestly so proud of our little shepherd’s hut, perched high on the Yorkshire coast overlooking beautiful Filey Bay.

From breathtaking sunrises and sunsets to the Northern Lights dancing over the sea, curious sheep popping by to say hello, and guests making precious memories, Bluebell really is a special little place. 🐑🌊

A huge THANK YOU to every single person who has stayed with us this season. Every booking, lovely message, kind review and recommendation means the world to our little family-run business.

We’ve loved welcoming you all, whether you’ve visited for a romantic getaway, a birthday surprise, a peaceful escape or simply to enjoy those incredible views. 💙

But don’t worry, Bluebell isn’t going to be resting just yet… 👀

🎃 First, she’s getting a spooky makeover! We’re transforming her into our cosy Halloween coffee shop for A Very Sheepy Halloween at The Cuddly Sheep Retreat!

🎅 Then comes the Christmas magic! Bluebell will be transformed once again into Santa’s Grotto, ready for some very special festive visitors!

From romantic hideaway to Halloween headquarters to Christmas magic… our little Bluebell certainly works hard! 😂❤️

So here’s to another wonderful season, another Superhost award and lots of exciting things ahead.

🎃 HALLOWEEN TICKETS ARE SELLING FAST! 🐑

I’m so excited to see bookings coming in already for our Very Sheepie Halloween at The Cuddly Sheep Retreat! 🧡

This half-term, come and spend 90 minutes with us for a slightly different kind of Halloween — pumpkins, sheep, our Halloween trail, games, marshmallows, hot chocolate and plenty of autumnal fun. 🍂🔥🐑

Tickets are £15 per child and include ONE accompanying adult, and we’re keeping each session small so it doesn’t feel overcrowded. Some of the dates and times are already starting to fill, so if you’ve got a particular session in mind, I wouldn’t leave it too long. 👀🎃

Our brand-new Sheep Explorer Base Camp has spaces available this week! 🌿🔎

This isn’t just a sheep visit…

Children become Sheep Explorers and head to Base Camp for a hands-on adventure filled with sheep, wildlife, nature and discovery. 🐑🪶🐚🪲

They’ll complete explorer activities, learn about our Valais Blacknose sheep, investigate the natural world around our little clifftop farm and, of course, spend time with our VERY cuddly sheep. ❤️

And every visit earns them an Explorer Badge — with different adventures to complete throughout the holidays and a special golden badge to work towards! ⭐

🐬 Nature always has a way of surprising you… 💙

This evening, as we sat enjoying our dinner overlooking Filey Bay, we were treated to the most incredible sight… dolphins swimming past! 😍

Moments like these are impossible to plan, but they’re one of the reasons we love living here so much. Whether it’s watching the seabirds soaring along the cliffs, spotting seals bobbing in the waves, or, if you’re really lucky, seeing dolphins pass by, there’s always something special to discover.

A stay at Bluebell Shepherd’s Hut isn’t just about escaping the everyday—it’s about slowing down, taking in the view and reconnecting with nature. Sometimes the best entertainment is right outside your window. 🌊✨
