*** BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND ***

Oh my word have you seen the forecast? 😳🌡️☀️

So just a run down on what we will be doing, we will be open Saturday - Monday 10am-8pm. Serving food during these hours too.

Food:
- I am frantically contacting all my fishing friends to get as much lobster as possible 🦞
- Breakfasts only served until 12pm
- All other menu and seafood fridge on all day

Drinks:
- Bar will be open 10-8
- Our new cocktail menu will be on trial too 🍹
- Vodka slushes are back on!
- Freshly ground coffee and hot chocolate to warm to swimmers up
- Selection of 0% beer and prosecco

Ice Creams:
- Whippy's and slushes
- Lots of choice of impulse ice creams including cornettos, magnums etc
- Doggie ice creams and vegan available too

Retail:
- It's going to be a good crabbing and exploring weekend with the tides out in the afternoon
- We sell crab nets, bait, buckets, spades and good quality wet shoes
- Body boards on sale for the little ones

IMPORTANT:
- We are takeaway only, no pre orders sorry
- We have toilets down here too, please keep them nice for the next person
- We aren't fast food, take a buzzer and enjoy the sunshine while waiting. Please be patient 🙏
- We take cash or card

SAFETY NOTICE:
If you plan on paddleboarding, yes the weather is perfect but please please wear a safety device and lifejacket.
Please don't leave kids unattended in inflatables

Medieval Re-enactment Weekend this Saturday and Sunday! Who's joining us!?

Come along and meet curious characters in medieval living encampments, marvel at soldiers preparing for combat and watch engaging battle sequences throughout the day.⚔️

There will also be the opportunity to engage in medieval kitchen demonstrations, craft displays, fashion workshops, dramatic archery shows and much more.🏹

The weekend is set to be fun for all the family and is brought to Sewerby Hall and Gardens by Sir John Saviles Household.

Just a few photos from our walks this week whilst over at Meadow View, we managed an average of 20,000 steps each day during our stay. With such stunning scenery it’s easy to see how.

A lovely week over at Meadow View getting a few jobs done and items replaced before the season gets into full swing.
We have had a brand new oven and hob fitted, which I think looks fantastic, the annual service of the gas boiler and appliances has also taken place to ensure everything is safe for our lovely guests. We have also repainted staircase and made sure the cottage is fully equipped with everything our guests require for it to feel like a home from home.
It hasn’t been all work and no play though, we have enjoyed lots of lovely beach walks in the sunshine.

A lovely walk around The Meadows this evening with Ember 🐾 it was so peaceful. Less than a minutes walk from our door, this gorgeous green area is filled with wildlife, we spotted rabbits, ducks and a barn owl unfortunately I wasn’t fast enough to catch them on camera.
