What a busy summer we’ve had at Ridgeway Cottage! We’ve loved welcoming families and welcoming new guests—thank you for letting us be part of your summer memories. ☀️

We completed a maintenance visit last weekend, so everything is top-quality and ready for the our next guests.

It's a beautiful day again in Filey and we are sad to be leaving.

We've done a deep clean and made sure everything is ready to welcome our guests over the next few weeks.

If you haven't booked your summer holiday yet our cottage sleeps 4 people and is located on The Bay in Filey. We have a little availability before the kids break up and a few days left at the end of the school holidays.

Did you know that when you stay at our cottage, you’re walking on a piece of British holiday history? 🇬🇧✨

Our location was actually part of the massive Butlin’s Filey site many years ago! I was just reading an article about it which reminded me of this brilliant video by AdventureMe on YouTube.

It covers everything from the old "Puffing Billy" train tracks to the legend of Charlie the Elephant who is buried nearby! 🐘 It’s so surreal to see what the grounds looked like back then compared to the peaceful retreat it is today.

The best part? Our "home away from home" cottage is just a 10-minute stroll down the hill. No fighting for parking—just flip-flops and fresh sea air. 👣

Our cottage sleeps 4 across two cozy bedrooms and is packed with all the little home comforts to make sure you feel relaxed the moment you walk through the door. We are so proud of our 5-star reviews, but the fact that so many of our guests choose to return year after year truly speaks volumes! 🏠💛
