The summer rush may be coming to an end, but we think this is when Filey becomes even more special. 🤍

Quieter beaches, long coastal walks, fresh sea air and cosy evenings back at Honey & Tide.

Our little beach house at The Bay sleeps up to 5, welcomes dogs 🐾 and has everything you need for a relaxed coastal escape. Don’t forget pool, gym and sauna/steam room access are all included in your stay!

Holidays are better when the whole family can come along — and that definitely includes the dog. 🐶🤍

With the beach, meadows and miles of gorgeous coastal walks right on the doorstep, Honey & Tide is proudly dog friendly. Whether it’s sandy paws after a morning on the beach, sunset strolls along the coast or curling up back at the lodge after a busy day exploring, we think it’s the perfect little escape for humans and their four-legged companions. 🌊🌾

And judging by our first furry visitor, it gets the bulldog seal of approval. 😂🐾

🍯🌊 Welcome to Honey & Tide — A New Chapter Begins 🌊🍯

We’re delighted to officially introduce Honey & Tide, formerly known as Sandy Bay Beach House, and to share the beginning of an exciting new chapter for this very special lodge.

As the new owners, we’d firstly like to say a huge thank you to the previous owners for all their help and support throughout the handover. They’ve been incredibly generous with their time and knowledge, helping us get to know the lodge and ensuring the transition has been as smooth as possible.

Many of you will already know and love the lodge as Sandy Bay Beach House. As we take over, we felt it was the perfect time to give it a new name and identity of its own — Honey & Tide. 🍯🌊

While the name may be new, everything that makes this such a wonderful place to escape to remains. We’ll be building on what’s already here, adding some thoughtful touches of our own and making Honey & Tide somewhere we hope guests will want to return to year after year.

We’ve got lots to share over the coming weeks, including a proper look around Honey & Tide, a little more about us, and what you can expect when you come to stay.

For now, we’d simply like to say hello, welcome, and thank you for joining us at the very beginning of Honey & Tide. 🤍

A heartfelt thank you from us ❤️

After an incredible 10 years of Sandy Bay Beach House, we wanted to let you all know that we have now passed the house on to a new owner.

We would like to say a huge thank you to every single guest who has stayed with us, supported us, recommended us, returned year after year and helped make the last 10 years so special. We have loved welcoming you and creating so many wonderful memories along the way. 🏡❤️

Going forward, any queries should now be directed to the new owners. For guests who already have bookings, the new owners will be in touch with you directly regarding your stay.

Please watch this space for exciting updates as the new owners begin their changeover and put their own stamp on Sandy Bay Beach House.
