Brilliant shop, great staff and just a one minute walk away from Dandy Rig🙂

Good Morning Everyone.
We hope you are all keeping safe, enjoying the summer and looking forward to the long weekend.
In the shop fresh today we have-
Haddock,Salmon,Lemon sole,Plaice, Rock salmon, Skate, Sword fish,Hake,Red bream,Seabass,Cod loin, Mackerel, Locally caught dressed crabs and white meat and a variety of our own naturally smoked fish🐟

This weekend has seen our first guests since last year. 🙂
After we prepped the cottage we were able to take our first walk down to the seafront since October!
What a beautiful day and it was nice to see people enjoying themselves whilst maintaining social distancing protocols.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement
We hoped we wouldn't have to post this again, but with the rise in Coronavirus we again as a business have to to play our part in the battle against COVID 19 and remove any additional burden from the public services in Filey & North Yorkshire.
We will temporarily close Dandy Rig Cottage until at least the beginning of December 2020. (Pending any Government changes)
If there is any change to this we will post an update on Facebook.

We are registered for the Government’s ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme. Dine with us Monday to Wednesday throughout August and you will automatically receive 50% off your bill up to a maximum of £10 per head!

We’re open 10am to 4pm every day 🙂

As well as promoting our holiday cottage we wanted to do a bit of a "Public Service Broadcast" and promote the "what3words" location app.
Download it to your phone and it will always be there if you need call the Emergency Services and you don't know where you are.

A few hardy souls camped out with windbreaks up against the sea wall.

Plenty of Seagulls around who were unfortunately being fed with chips! 😡

If you are visiting Filey or any other seaside resort please don't feed the seagulls as they then start to take food off young children.

Nice to see the Filey Food & Drink Festival back in operation.
Can't wait to see what food stalls they have! 😁
