The Farmhouse at FIncham is a Grade II listed barn situated in the picturesque county of Norfolk. Licenced for civil ceremonies this all-inclusive complex offers weddings and events to suit all budgets. The bar and restaurant serves delicious homemade meals, made with locally sourced ingredients and is one of the best restaurants in the area. The venue hosts over 46 rooms offering clean, home from

home comfort. With prices hard to beat in the local area for the facilities and services on offer. Room prices start from £65 for a standard double. All rooms have flat screen TV’s, free Wi-Fi, refreshments, toiletries, towels, mirrors, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards. The Farmhouse offers everything in one place for a stress free experience. There is plenty of free parking, a lovely bar with cosy lounge area and open fire, a restaurant brimming with character serving traditional homemade meals at a reasonable price. We offer a choice of function rooms for weddings, events, business meetings and private party’s, including our magnificent permanent marquee for the larger event, with its own bar, toilets, large dance floor and chandeliers. The Hayloft bar and restaurant has become a hub for the local community and being tucked away in the countryside, is indeed West Norfolks Best Kept Secret. 𝐀 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐮𝐬.

You may have noticed a few changes, hints and new names appearing around The Farmhouse recently.
We wanted to take a moment to explain the direction a little more clearly.

The Farmhouse itself isn’t going anywhere. It remains the place all of this sits within, but over the coming weeks you’ll start to see a clearer split between the different parts of what we do.

The Piggery Pub will become The Pig & Peacock, our countryside pub with drinks, rooms and a new food direction launching on Thursday 2nd July.

The Great Barn will become Mulberry Barn, with its own identity and dedicated socials for weddings, events and celebrations.

This current page will become the home of The Pig & Peacock, while wedding and event content will move over to Mulberry Barn, Fincham so do drop us a follow there if weddings, celebrations or private events are what you’re here for.

We’re taking a little more time now to bring the team, menu and details together, so that when food returns on Thursday 2nd July, everything feels settled and ready for the next chapter.

More details on the new food direction, launch plans and menus will follow soon.

New websites for both The Pig & Peacock and Mulberry Barn are almost ready to launch, giving each side a clearer home online too.

Charity balls, baby showers, weddings, private celebrations, people staying over, dogs popping in, drinks in the pub…

There’s a lot happening here at the moment, even while a few things are still taking shape behind the scenes.

That’s probably the bit we like most about this place.

Different days, different people, different reasons for being here.

And with Christmas party dates being announced soon, there’ll be even more reasons to gather later in the year too.

No big Bank Holiday Monday plan?

Sometimes that’s not the worst thing.

A little drive out to Fincham, a drink at the bar, a game of pool, a wander through the countryside, and no need to make a whole production of it.

The pub will be open for drinks, and if tomorrow ends up being one of those “shall we just go somewhere for an hour?” kind of days, you know where we are.

Simple plans are usually the ones that actually happen.

Bank Holiday weekend loading… 🍺

If your long weekend plans involve a countryside walk, a catch-up with friends, or just finding somewhere to sit with a decent pint for a while, Hawkstone is now pouring at The Pig & Peacock.

Lager, IPA and Cider on draught, with Hawkstone vodka and gin behind the bar too.

It’s proving rather popular already.
Let’s just say it hasn’t needed much persuading to leave the barrel.
