The Manor Town House hotel is situated on the spectacular and beautiful coast of Pembrokeshire in the west of Wales. For those who enjoy walking, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs through the woods below the garden down to the sea. Spacious guest rooms are cosy and comfortable, many with spectacular views of the sea and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. All rooms offer the best of home comforts such as dressing gowns, luxurious bedding and feather pillows, most with King or Super-king sized beds. It’s a while since we shared breakfast. It’s all a matter of taste and this isn’t for everyone but our set breakfast menu is curated to the guests each day. We completely accommodate adaptions but today we had a full house 🌟

Guests are now travelling onwards to further explore Wales, others back home and some overseas. We like to think they are set up for the day with a fairly healthy, warming breakfast to keep their taste buds tingling.

One room who arrived for the COSY AUTUMN OFFER were recommended to stay by friends. They have already asked to come back for another stay.

It’s almost the weekend. Will you be thinking about booking a last minute escape maybe somewhere your friends have recommended? Word of mouth is always the best. That’s how lots of our guests find us. Your friends know your taste, we try to match it…

Sorry to be boring but get enough of this place and gorgeous weather.

Yesterday was the most beautiful October day ☀️

Once breakfast was over and we had said goodbye to a few of our lovely guests, we headed off to Newgale beach for a birthday walk with Mr Sheldon, one year younger (!).

We couldn’t have asked for more. The beach is over 2 miles long at low tide so plenty of time to dose up on Vitamin D.
Had to get back home to welcome new arrivals. They are currently following in our footsteps now, after hearing about our great afternoon out.

The perfect way to remember September.
It’s been a crazy busy month and season and some days it’s been impossible to get out for a walk, so with a few days left of the month and a few hours left in the day, this was possibly the most stunning walk around Dinas Head I have ever taken.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is on our doorstep and with such a beautiful day, this impromptu hike was a great decision.
Having never walked from Cwm yr Eglwys to Pwllgwaelod before, somehow previously always the other way round, it did kind of feel like walking backwards, but it was a wonderful experience to see the view from this new perspective.
Another first for this walk was the time of day. Setting off at 5.30pm with gorgeous sunshine ahead, watching the sunset on the way around was like a beacon of light, (blinding occasionally!), to guide me towards home.

The last photo was taken less than an hour later just before the sun set on the horizon. I passed no more than 4 other walkers, all female too incidentally, but even at the height of the season, it’s never a crowded path. And with The Sailors Safety Sailors’ Safety nestled in the bay, what better way to end the day before taking the short cut behind the pub back to Cwm yr Eglwys, and heading back home?

The perfect way to remember September.

It’s been a crazy busy month and season and some days it’s been impossible to get out, so with a few days left of the month and a few hours left in the day, this was possibly the most stunning walk around Dinas Head ever.

On Land’s Edge festival began this evening with an incredible parade of Moby Dick inspired lanterns. Created by school children and locals thanks to Cardigan’s Small World Theatre team, it looked spectacular especially against the stunning sunset.

With the help of a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, we will be weaving in a range of Moby Dick themed events and capturing and preserving the stories and memories from 1956 when ‘Tinseltown’ came to the twin towns”.

We positioned the bed for the maximum pillow view. Watch a sumptuous sunset, gaze at a starry night and then watch the morning sun rise as the day begins to glow without rising from your bed.

Apparently, our beds are super comfy and we are often asked if guests can take our mattresses home with them. It might also be the feather -light bedding and cool, crisp Egyptian cotton sheets.

Love to see September sunshine beaming into these rooms.

Two guest receptions are a bit of an extravagance as we only have 6 rooms but they are perfect for lounging in solitude with the papers or relaxing with friends over drinks in the evening for gatherings, large and small.

We love space and we like to give guests room to make themselves feel at home in a room of their own.

We will be switching things around soon once it’s time to light the fire. We like to position the big sofa opposite the wood burner to make things a little more cosy and cwtchy for autumn/winter evenings.

Today our guests from Idaho who stayed in our most popular Room 5, filled the last space of the guest book.

It was the perfect time to reflect on one of our busiest summers and recall some of the memories our guests now have from holidaying here in Pembrokeshire with us.

Lots of comments about the breakfasts so with so many people who keep coming back I think next year will see some new additions to keep things fresh.

It’s not yet the end of the season here, September is super busy with lots of people enjoying the great outdoors and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path particularly. October is getting busy too and our new special offer is proving to be a popular one.
