Blackpool Illuminations 2026 switch on Friday 4th September and run right through to 3rd January 2027 — and our caravan at Cala Gran is only about 15 minutes from the famous mile.

Meet our home away from home 🏡

Graham & Lens here! We're the owners of a caravan at Cala Gran Holiday Park in Fleetwood — right on the Fylde coast, with the beach, an indoor pool, entertainment and arcades on your doorstep, and Blackpool just a 15-minute drive away.

Our summer's fully booked (thank you to everyone who's already staying with us!), but we've got autumn and winter dates open now, including the Blackpool Illuminations season.

August goes fast. School holidays, long evenings, Blackpool Illuminations switching on at the end of the month. It's a good time to be on the Fylde Coast.

We've got a few dates left at our Cala Gran caravan in Fleetwood. Three bedrooms, sleeps six, everything included. Keylock entry, beds made up, the whole thing sorted before you arrive.

Three bedrooms. Sleeps six. Works brilliantly for a family. Also works for two families, a group of friends, three couples, or grandparents with everyone else piled in.

The double bedroom and two twin rooms mean everyone gets their own space without anyone drawing the short straw.

If you're in Fleetwood and you don't have fish and chips, we're going to need a word.

Proper Lancashire coast fish and chips. The kind that travel about three minutes from the fryer to your lap on a bench near the sea.

Fleetwood is a historical fishing town. The quality shows.

Our caravan at Cala Gran is right in the middle of all of it. Plenty of good places to eat nearby, or use the kitchen and keep the holiday budget intact.

A weekend break doesn't have to mean an airport, a packed hotel, or spending more than you planned.

Three nights at our Fleetwood caravan and you've got the coast, Blackpool, Cleveleys, proper fish and chips, sea air, and somewhere comfortable to come back to every evening.

Everything in: linen, towels, WiFi, Netflix, beds made up. You pull up, go in, it's sorted.

Do you prefer a long weekend or a full week for a UK break?

The caravan has a keylock on the door. Which means there's no check-in desk, no waiting at reception, and no getting there by 4pm because that's when the key's available.

You get the code before you travel. You arrive when it suits. Whether that's mid-afternoon or after a long drive when the kids are finally asleep.

It's one of those small things that makes the start of a holiday feel completely different.
