⛔️🚧 CUMBRIA STEAM GATHERING – FLOOKBURGH & ALLITHWAITE 🚧⛔️

🗓️ 25/07/26 – 26/07/26

Temporary traffic restrictions, parking restrictions and a one-way system will be in place to facilitate the Cumbria Steam Gathering at Cark Airfield and to provide safer access and egress for event traffic.

This is anticipated to be in place for 2 days.

📍 Restrictions:

🚫 No Waiting / No Loading (including Blue Badge holders):

* Station Road (both sides) – from its junction with Market Street, extending approximately 100m north.
* Market Street (both sides) – from its junction with Station Road, extending approximately 80m east.
* Moor Lane (both sides) – from its junction with Market Street, extending approximately 140m south.

🚗 One-Way System – Wraysholme Lane, Allithwaite:

* Vehicles will be prohibited from travelling in an overall southerly direction from the B5277 for approximately 1.4km.
* Vehicles will be prohibited from travelling in an overall northerly direction from a point approximately 880m east of Moor Lane for approximately 1.4km.

ℹ️ Please note: The one-way system will operate on a rolling basis and may be alternated throughout the event to safely manage traffic entering and leaving the site.

⚠️ Alternative Route:
Suitable diversion routes will be signed on site as required.

🚲 A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will BE MAINTAINED at all times.

🚨 Emergency Services:
Access for emergency vehicles will BE MAINTAINED where required for the duration of the event.
