The Coffee Roastery and Coffee Shop are based at Kirk Cottage in the Speyside village of Garmouth, Moray. Opening hours - Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 3pm, serving Hot and Cold Drinks, Pastries, Tray Bakes and Bacon Rolls and Paninis. I roast weekly using the specially built 5 kg Roaster which was imported from Turkey, and I use Falcon Specialty to supply the finest quality Specialty Green Beans.

Brazilian beans are always on offer, alongside a Guest Roast, a Decaf and the Barrel Aged Coffee. I don't offer a wide range of origins as I like to keep the stock up to date and as fresh as it can be. My Freshly Roasted Coffee is available to buy from the coffee shop or online in various sized packaging, as beans, or ground depending on your individual requirements. Thank you to Byres Farm for inviting us. This was our first farmers market and it was a great success. It was a very well organised event with great vendors and stalls.

Hello from the bakery! 🥖✨

Drum roll please… 🥁

I’ve been working on this baby for a couple of weeks now, and I am delighted to finally share my Byres Farm Market menu for this coming Sunday! 🚜🌾

Some of our bakery favourites will be making an appearance, and some in a slightly different form… keep an eye out for the Garlic Pointy Sticks 👀🥖🧄

I’ve also got some brand new goodies joining the lineup!

One I’m particularly excited about is the Chocolate Latte Loaf, made with locally roasted coffee from Speyside Coffee Roasting Co. , Glen Moray Blend. As a huge coffee lover, I can confirm that coffee, chocolate, and whisky notes are a pretty magical combination ☕🍫 It has turned out even better than I hoped!

And to balance out all that rich chocolatey goodness, there will also be a selection of beautiful fruity Danish pastries on the stall this month 🍓🍋

I’ll be at Byres Farm Market from 10am–2pm on Sunday, so make sure you pop by to say hello and treat yourself to something delicious!

Four years ago this week, we opened The Deli Next Door.
What started as an idea during Covid became a way for us to bring something more to Scribbles — a space that could continue to be a real community hub, offering cupboard essentials, artisan local and Scottish produce, and a takeaway lunch for people on the go.
I’m incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved over the last four years, and none of it would have been possible without the support of an amazing team and all of the wonderful customers who’ve supported us along the way.
Thank you for being part of the journey — here’s to the next chapter. Faith ❤️
