Fantastic news for our Kent coastline! 🌊

A major boost for the seafront as Folkestone Harbour Arm has been recognised among the UK’s best piers and coastal attractions.

It’s great to see Folkestone receiving national recognition. This recognition highlights the incredible transformation of the area and everything it has to offer residents and visitors alike.

Well done to everyone involved in helping put Folkestone firmly on the map — something positive for our local community to celebrate!

We’ve seen reports regarding "reservation hijacking" scams affecting Booking.com users. Hackers are reportedly accessing hotel messaging systems to send fake payment links to guests.

Please remember:
We will never ask for your credit card details or additional payments via a WhatsApp message or a suspicious external link.
• If you receive a message asking for urgent payment to "verify" or "save" your booking, do not click it.

If you are ever unsure about a message you receive, please call us directly or message us here on our official page. Your security is our top priority!

Updates: 23 April, landline is back working , recovered by private company

We urgently need help from BT (BT Group).BT Complaints/Customer service/Stories , BT Complaints Contact Details, The non official BT broadband speed / openreach support group

Our main business line 01797 362187 has been placed in quarantine for 3 months, and despite weeks of trying to resolve, we are still without a solution.

This number has been active for decades and is essential to our day-to-day business. Right now, we are losing bookings every single hour, and customers simply cannot reach us.

leavinb a long-standing business line unusable for months without resolution is unacceptable. We have done everything asked of us and still have no clear outcome or timeline.

We are asking BT to urgently:
• Escalate this case
• Restore our number or provide an immediate alternative like forwarding to a mobile
• Contact us directly with a solution

At this point, we feel we have no choice but to raise this publicly.

If anyone has contacts within BT or advice on how to escalate this further, we would really appreciate your help.
