A letter from Ben & Lucy

Hello,

Lucy and I wanted to let you all know we have made the sad and tough decision to close the restaurant at The London and Paris. You may have noticed it’s been closed for the last couple of weeks and this comes after some real soul searching.

It wasn’t an easy decision, but one that needed to be made. Whilst we’re really proud of the achievements of the restaurant, trying to make it work was difficult and with the announcement that business costs are going to rise further, we felt we were left with little choice but to make the decision now.

We loved the L&P, and it was a real ‘bucket list’ for L&B, but it’s a tough market and we’ve decided not to continue down this route.

The dining room has now been incorporated into The Harbour Inn and the team there have been looking after the space since last week.

Lucy has given the dining room a makeover and it feels more cosy than ever. The hotel guests can now use the pub and dining room which makes more sense.

We understand any disappointment as we are too, and we thank everyone who came to visit and enjoy The London and Paris restaurant.
