The Coach House is a former 17th Century Dower House and collection of farm buildings arranged around a sun-trapped courtyard. Converted to a Guest House in the early 70s, the Coach House has continued to expand and grow over the past 40 years, continually receiving praise for the relaxed atmosphere and fresh food. With a passion to create a friendly, relaxed, family run business while still achieving the highest quality food and service for all. The tastefully converted bedrooms set in the sun filled courtyard offer spacious fully equipped and disabled friendly accommodation. The large vaulted residents lounge and bar features a great open fire with lovely views over the terrace and orchard. Complementary afternoon tea is served in the lounge to all guests and on a warm afternoon you can enjoy refreshments in the suntrap that is our expansive terrace. Breakfast and dinner is served in our 2 elegant dining rooms with period fireplaces, beams and feature windows.

Jackie Rosie became the proprietor of The Coach House in 2013 after returning home from living in New Zealand for a number of years. Before she left for NZ, Jackie worked at The Coach House during her teenage years, and was thrilled to be back. Jackie’s passion to create a friendly, relaxed, family run business while still achieving the highest quality food and service for all runs throughout the business.

The Coach House is a large Guest House and Fine Dining Restaurant on the outskirts of Crookham in Northumberland. Once a 17th Century Dower House and collection of farm buildings arranged around a sun-trapped courtyard, it’s been lovingly converted into an elegant venue with a modern cosy feel.

Converted to a Guest House in the early 70s, The Coach House has continued to expand and grow over the past 40 plus years, continually receiving praise for the relaxed atmosphere and fresh food. In 2018 we’ve won several awards including the Northumberland Business Award for Tourism. The traditional bedrooms upstairs in the dower house offer exposed beams and plenty of character. The tastefully converted bedrooms set around the sun filled courtyard offer spacious fully equipped and disabled friendly accommodation. The large vaulted residents lounge and bar features a great open fire with lovely views over the terrace and orchard. Complementary cream tea is served in the lounge to all guests arriving before 5:30pm and on a warm afternoon you can enjoy refreshments in the suntrap that is our expansive terrace. Breakfast and dinner is served in our 2 elegant dining rooms with period fireplaces, beams and feature windows. We also serve our three course fine dining set menu dinner to residential and non residential guests and are taking bookings for weddings in 2019.
