From 10th May, The Stallions will be out on the Forest for up to eight weeks. THEIR MINDS WILL NOT BE ON THE ROADS. The boys are vital, as part of the closely controlled breeding programme.
All the ponies will be more active over the next few weeks. Please drive with even more care. They could head towards roads, at speed and they will not stop. You must be prepared to.
40 mph is the limit, and not a target. Better to get where you want to go safely, than not at all.
If walking or riding, please keep clear of the ponies, and do not disturb any of the animals, please keep your dogs under close control, and on leads if required.
