A little look back at how the barns began.

What you see today as warm, welcoming places to stay started life very differently. Many years ago these buildings were simple working farm structures — home to pigs, chickens, and the everyday bustle of farm life.

As farming changed, the buildings slowly fell silent and, for a time, stood derelict. Weathered by the years, they waited for a new purpose.

With a great deal of care, time, and restoration, those old farm buildings were brought back to life. The original character was preserved wherever possible — from the structure of the barns to the sense of history in the walls.

Today they have a new story: a place for guests to relax, unwind, and experience a little piece of countryside heritage.

From pigsty and chickens… to derelict… to the barns you stay in today.
