Yesterday was the first time in 15 years I have not had a changeover on the day of the Ben Nevis Race (thank you all my weekend bookings!). I waited at the halfway point to watch and cheer the incredible runners. Fabulous to see so many local runners in the 360 people who successfully completed the daunting race. Local Finlay Wild flew up and down to win for an amazing 11th time, and very proud of my youngest doing his first Ben race and being first local U23. No photos of the runners I am afraid as I was too busy cheering, but it is quite something to see the long line of runners heading up to the summit.
