We are situated in an elevated position, in a quiet cul-de-sac with spectacular views over Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Hills. along the shores of the Loch to the town where there are plenty of Restaurants, Pubs, Supermarkets and Shops. Fort William being the Outdoor Capital of the U.K. there are many activit

ies locally - Hillwalking, Fishing, Mountain Biking, Ski-ing ,Golf etc. Why not try the magic of a ride on Britain’s only Mountain Gondola to Aonach Mor. For the person looking for a challenge there is always “ Ben Nevis” the highest mountain in the U.K. Come and stay with us at Taransay, use us as a base to enjoy the surrounding area, Inverness is 1 hour 15 minutes drive away, The Isle of Skye, Mull, Oban, and Glencoe can all be visited in a day. For those who prefer browsing the internet , we have free wifi.

We wish everyone a Happy New Year. Let's hope it gets better than 2020. The b&b is currently closed due to a high Covid incidence in the UK. We are seeing how things go before we decide when we open. Stay safe everyone. From Paul and Liz Simpson.
