There’s something about this time of year that always feels a bit special to us.
Longer evenings, lighter mornings, and that pull to be outside again. The season starts gently here — open space, fresh air, and time that stretches out in a way it doesn’t at home.
You arrive, unload the car, half unpack — then just end up outside. Kettle on, fire pit lit, someone wandering off to have a look around. Before long, you’re cooking, talking, watching the light change across the valley.
It turns into one of those evenings — food outside, jackets on, conversations going on longer than you meant to.
It’s not peak summer yet, but that’s what makes it good.
A bit more space. A bit more quiet. And that feeling of getting here just before everyone else does. 🥰
