Some news ….
After almost 10 years here in Foyers, Phil and I are moving on to pastures new and the lodge is set for the next stage of its storied history under new ownership.
Being the custodians of this charming look-out post of Loch Ness myth and legend has truly been the endeavour of our careers. Together we have poured all our collective creative and practical efforts into restoring this old beauty and couldn’t be prouder of everything we’ve achieved. From empty shell to Michelin key, as first time hospitality owners it has been an unforgettable experience.
We couldn’t of course have done it without the support of our friends, family and neighbours whose endless generosity and efforts in the early days of refurb were invaluable. We’d also like to thank the wonderful members of the team who over the years supported us as we grew with special gratitude to Barry the builder who worked (and lived!) with us at various stages throughout the project and who joined in 2021 raising the bar and taking our vision for Foyers Lodge to another level. Thank you to all the suppliers and contractors who worked with us and especially to and whose stunning visual identity and beautiful photography helped us share the essence of the lodge with people from all over the world.
Our dear guests. How can we thank you enough for choosing to stay with us during your trip to Loch Ness - many of you visiting again and again. We are delighted to have hosted your special birthdays, engagements, honeymoons, anniversaries, adventures and ‘once in a lifetime’ trips. We truly hope the memories you made will stay with you forever, they certainly will for us. In what other job could you ever hope to meet and entertain such a broad spectrum of nationalities and professions - we have been so inspired by your own personal stories.
So it’s goodbye from us. We wish the new owners every success in creating the next chapter for Foyers Lodge.
