Do you like to continue travelling all year round?

Here at Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire we stay open all year for those of you who do, and with our solid hardstanding bays and easy access by road you can be worry free about getting stuck.

At just £5, with fresh water and recycling bins onsite, and a seating area on the headland, we try to offer great value. We also offer a cassette emptying facility for £5 for guests or as a drop-in service.

The sea is wonderful to watch in all weathers from our bays, and if you are lucky, like our guests this weekend, you may get treated to an aurora.

There’s a cycle and pedestrian path right opposite that take you to the nearby supermarkets and bus stop (1/4 mile), or into town (1.5miles).

Pets are always welcome (please keep on leads outside your vehicle). There are no limits or extra charges here.

If it’s dark when you arrive look out for our fairy lights as there are no street lights here.

You are welcome to book or just turn up and knock at the cottage door.

If you like to visit coffee shops and will be travelling this area this October/November this looks like a great idea to support local businesses.

Sweets & Sips in Fraserburgh is one of the brilliant cafes on the trail and we are open all year so you could visit them whilst staying here for just a fiver.

NORTH EAST CAFÉ TRAIL - 1st October – 30th November 2026

This October and November, independent cafés across the North East of Scotland are coming together for the very first North East Café Trail.

The idea is simple – get out and explore, discover cafés you might never have visited before, enjoy some great food and drink and support independent local businesses along the way.

You have the whole of October & November to take part, so there’s no need to complete the Trail in one day. Plan a day out, visit a couple at a time or work your way around the Trail throughout October and November.

Crafty Creations is a brilliant local shop with a wonderful assortment of handmade products from a collection of local crafters and producers. Well worth a look if you go for a walk around Fraserburgh.

Plus look out for jewellery and decor by Jewel Destiny Jewellery, as they are made here by Cecilia (if you stay with us do ask her if you find jewellery interesting as she is far too shy about promoting what she does!)

What a difference a few hours make!

This morning was damp and misty but with good breakers at sea the surfers were enjoying themselves, while this afternoon the skies are blue and it’s lovely warm weather too.

This is a great museum at nearby Peterhead which our guests often tell us how much they enjoyed.

Plus it’s dog friendly too which we know is important to many of you travelling with your furry friends 🐾

Have you visited Keith? This is another town we’ve taken a day trip to recently - Greg discovered his grandmother was born there.

Its heritage railway runs to Dufftown and is definitely something we’ll return to ride on one day.

It’s a pretty town. We took an afternoon wander round, looking at the auld brig, the river, the very impressive cemetery, and the distillery buildings.

What a difference a day makes. Today the seas are calm, there is no breeze and it has turned really warm for late September.

Why? Because Greg put our outdoors table and chairs away yesterday 😂
