"Pew with a view" is situated in the hamlet of Pitullie in the North east coast of Scotland. The cottage is a renovated fisherman’s cottage dating back to the 1600's and sits 5 metres from the sea. It has direct access to a boat ramp which leads into a small harbour allowing easy access for boats, kayaks, Jet Skis and divers. This site is frequented by diving clubs around North East Scotland and i

s known as one of the best diving sites in the area. The Boat House situated under the cottage is ideal for storing fishing and water sport equipment. The cottage has floor to ceiling storm-proof windows and is a perfect spot to birdwatch or to enjoy the many dolphins, minky whales and seals which frequently pass by. The cottage has a large decking area and garden with a small natural burn running through it. There is a range of Garden furniture and a fire pit to enjoy the outdoors day or night.

On the evening of Friday 19th June, four orca from the 27s group, including bull #34, were seen in Mousa Sound, Shetland.

In the early morning of Monday 22nd June, I photographed the same four orca off Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire.

This morning, the same four orca were seen off the Farne Islands, England!

Using a nautical navigation tool to calculate distance, and assuming they travelled as directly as possible by sea, which is unlikely, they travelled at least 550 kilometres in just over 5.5 days. It is more likely they travelled >600km.

Incredible to travel so far so fast 🫍🫍🫍🫍.
