From the coastal path you can walk to the famous Barafundle Bay at Stackpole and a little further to the Lily Ponds and Broadhaven Sands at Bosherston. The National Trust coastal path stretches from Amroth through to Poppit Sands at St Dogmaels. The views over the coastline from the coastal path are stunning.

10 mins drive away are the beaches of Manorbier (with its castle), Barafundle Bay, Broad

haven Sands, Bosherston Lily ponds and Freshwater West (famous for its surfing). 20 mins drive and you can visit Oakwood, Folly Farm, Tenby etc. Pembroke with its famous castle and Carew Castle are about 15 mins by car. If you wish to travel further afield, within an hour's drive you can reach the coastline of Cardigan bay with the famous Poppit Sands, Cenarth falls etc. In the other direction, Carmarthen and the beaches at Llansteffan (with castle) and Pembrey Country Park with its many activities and things to do. Travel inwards and you can visit the Preselli Hills, Narberth and the pembrokeshire waterways which start at Pembroke. Why not take a boat trip to see Skokholm and Skomer Island from Dale. Visit St David's with it famous Cathedral and Whiteshead Bay. There is so much to see and do. Exhausted, why not relax and take in the beautiful views from the top balcony of Bay View Lodge or sunbath on the sunbeds provided

11th of March sees our new entrance steps and new balcony. Will post photos when done. Decorating going well and hope to have new carpets in the bedrooms in April. Jobs for the Spring , 2 balconies top and bottom . Replace any rotting wood and paint job. We are getting ready for Easter bookings. Our Story

Beautiful holiday lodge by the stunning spacious beach at Freshwater East. Tenby Lodge looks out over the beach and Bay of Freshwater East. Spacious with 2 Large bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathrooms. Sleeps 5. A double bed in the Main Master Bedroom with its own balcony with views over the bay. The second bedroom with views over the bay sleeps2 in a 2 single beds. A large light spacious hallway upstairs with views over the country. Downstairs is the large lounge/diner and lower balcony with steps leading to the garden. A fully fitted newly painted kitchen with everything you need for a homely stay. The downstairs cloakroom is just off the entrance hall.

The sandy beach stretches for over half a mile and there are beautiful walks just behind the beach on the Coastal Path and sandy burrows. Ideal for sunbathing, swimming, watersports and looking in rock pools. There is also lots of wild birds and wild flowers. There is a continuous variety of wild flowers that change throughout the season making Freshwater East a fascinating place no matter what the season.

Just over 9 miles from Tenby with it famous walled town and day trips to Caldey Island. There are also many castles and beaches to explore all within a short drive away. All the main supermarkets and shops can be found just over 4 and half miles at Pembroke Dock where you can take a day trip to Ireland. There is a local shop just over 2 miles away.
