We are told that the bees are struggling and we need to do what we can over winter to help them. There are a few simple things we are doing at Farringford Estate. When you visit the garden, at the top we have provided a couple of large bee hotels and on the wider estate we have made some dead hedges and left some log piles for shelter. This year we have seen a wider variety of bees on the estate so hopefully the small things we are doing are helping.

The sun has come out! The gardens at Farringford Estate offer a great place to enjoy nature, horticulture and history. If you have not visited, we encourage you to do so before we close on 31st October. It is only £4.50 per adult to visit & on Wednesday and Thursday you can use your RHS membership or Gardeners World 2 for 1.
