👨‍🍳 Celebrating 34 Years of Ian!

Yesterday we said a very special Happy 65th Birthday and Happy Retirement to our "chef in the tall hat", Ian Fisher! (Pictures here with some of the team on his final shift)

After an incredible 34 years at Headlam Hall, Ian has officially hung up his chef whites and begun his well-deserved retirement.

Over the years, Ian has worked across many different areas of the kitchen, putting his skills and experience to good use before eventually settling into his role as Pastry Chef, where he saw out his final years with us.

We’d like to say a huge THANK YOU, Ian, for 34 years of hard work, dedication and everything you’ve contributed to Headlam Hall over the years. You’ve certainly been part of a lot of Headlam history!

We hope you have a fantastic retirement and enjoy plenty of well-earned time to relax, enjoy yourself and, of course, eat some cake without having to make it yourself!

Although… Ian, if you’ve changed your mind, we’re sure there’s a shift going today…

🍸 Meet Ben – Our Newly Appointed Bar Manager 🍸

We’re delighted to introduce Ben, who has recently stepped into his new role as Bar Manager here at Headlam Hall!

Ben has been part of the Headlam team for 5 years, originally joining us as a casual member of the bar and restaurant team before taking on his new role in July.

When asked what he loves most about Headlam, Ben said it’s coming to work with friends and dreaming up new cocktails — although he admits the golf is a pretty good perk too!

Ben is excited to help develop our newly refurbished bar and be part of this exciting new venture as we continue to bring the space to life.

We can’t wait to see what’s in store (and what’s in the glass!) 🍸
