Twenty years ago, we opened our doors with a simple goal; to create a place where friends and families could come together over great food, a proper pint, and warm hospitality.
Since then, we've had the privilege of celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, weddings, reunions, and countless everyday moments with so many of you.
Watching our own family grow and your families grow, welcoming familiar faces week after week, and meeting new friends along the way has been the greatest reward we could ever ask for.
To every customer who has walked through our doors, shared a meal, raised a glass, recommended us to a friend, or simply made us part of your lives, thank you. Your loyalty, kindness, and support have made the last 20 years truly unforgettable.
A huge thank you also goes to our amazing team, past and present, whose hard work and dedication have helped make The George the place it is today.
The George has been an inn and a part of the community for hundreds of years. It is a pleasure to be part of this amazing building and its story. It is even more of a pleasure to serve the community. Here's to the memories we've made together and to many more years of laughter, good food, great company, and unforgettable moments.
