Last night Rem and I sat in the garden watching the stars. The sky was so dark and the stars were so clear. It was perfectly silent. The perfect night. Today, the weather was glorious. We took Blu and Tess for a lovely walk in Carstramont. Didn't see another person just a small lizard and a couple of pheasants . Now sat in the garden with this view........ woodfoot ❤️

This is such a difficult post to have to write but this is our last year as Woodfoot holiday cottage. Recent events at home have led us to make the very sad decision to close our doors at the end of September and to sell our beautiful cottage.
We have had an amazing 8 years, and made some wonderful friends. Our guests have been some of the most lovely people you could ever hope to meet 😍
We would like to thank you all for your support over the years and for sharing your dog family photos and stories with us. We will definitely miss them........

For anyone with dogs looking to holiday in and around D&G in the future, we can recommend Barhill lodge on the other side of Gatehouse - another fabulous, detached dog friendly cottage by woodland.

Our baby girl Tess is recovering from a torn cruciate ligament operation😭 -which means that we're not able to make it up to Woodfoot for our planned holiday(maintenance) stay. we're massively disappointed but our girl comes 1st.....

But it does mean that we now have short notice availability for 31st August-7th September.
We also have 14th-21st September available. This is our only availability until December.

We're offering these weeks at £700 pw ( A £158 discount). Ping me a DM if interested 😃
We'll be advertising these 2 weeks on our usual dog friendly platforms tomorrow afternoon
