😢 Last day of the school holidays

We went to cockermouth

🚘 10 mins from us
🅿️ We parked near Harris Park which is free for a couple of hours (need a parking disc)
🛝 went to the play area
💪 the outdoor gym
💦 had a paddle in the river
🚶‍♀️ and a walk along the river

Now back to some sort of routine maybe 🤔

🔃 or you can walk the whole circuluar in about 4 hours
🧺 ideal for a lake shore picnic
🍴 or there are nearby cafes and pubs serving food
🥶 the deepest lake in England so its pretty cold all year round!!

🐑 Didn’t get many photos this time but a great play area for the little ones with a sheep treasure hunt and orienteering to do as well.
🛝 lots of things to do for the younger ones in the outdoor play area
🧗‍♀️ indoor climbing wall for older ones as well
☕️ cafe serving food and drinks

🍦 plenty of refreshment opportunities
🍺 we stopped at the Ladore Falls for a drink
🥪 then had lunch at the Kings Arms i Keswick
⛰️ great walk
⛴️ or you can mix it up by getting the boat for sections of it as well
