This Saturday 22nd August the tour of Britain will pass through Glasbury on its way to finish stage 4 in Hay-on-Wye.
Guests can park at the guesthouse and then watch the tour come over Glasbury bridge around 2.30pm.

We are often asked about walking from Aberllynfi Guesthouse to Hay-on-Wye. Our 2nd post explores the Wye Valley Walk.

Route 2
🥾 A more challenging and scenic route this walk follows the Radnorshire side of the river Wye with views across the valley to Hay Bluff and the eastern end of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Walking boots and map required. 5 miles 2hrs 50min.

Note, the small main road section and there is no longer a pub in Llowes.

📚 We are often asked about alternative and environmentally friendly ways to travel to Hay and the Festival. This route explores the county lanes on the edge of the National Park.🌼

Route 1,
🚶 🥾 Walk along the quiet lanes from Glasbury to Hay via Ffordd-las and Llanigon. Approximately 1hr 45mins.

🚴 Cycling, bring your own bike or hire one from Drovers in Hay, they will deliver to the guesthouse so you can start your adventure from Aberllynfi House. Lockable storage, drying facilities and charging for e-bike available.

🚌 The X44 runs between Hay and Glasbury about every 2hrs during the day, giving you the option to walk oneway and bus the other. £1.50 single
