Autumn is salmon season on the River Endrick 🐟🍂

A walk from The Snug you'll find the Pots of Gartness, a set of rocky falls where salmon and sea trout leap upstream to spawn. October and November are the best months to see them, especially after a good spell of rain. Wrap up, take a flask and give it twenty minutes.

Then head back and light the stove, either in the cottage or down at the River Hideaway, our covered shelter by the river 🔥

The Snug is in Gartness, under an hour from Glasgow and a short drive from Loch Lomond. Dogs are welcome 🐾

🍂 Still free: Saturday 24 October, with 3 nights for £449 or the full week for £895. There's also space from 28 November into early December.
