Last week, the stage group team were back in Fort William helping out with our friends Lochaber Showstoppers.
For this, we provided all 24 channels of Radio Microphones, a full lighting rig, a video wall, alongside special effects to bring their production of The Little Mermaid to land.
We couldn’t do our show without our incredible community, and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way.
Special thanks to The Nevis Centre for our stage and equally Caol Community Centre, and MacPhee and Partners for providing rehearsal spaces. To our fantastic co-directors, Alice Campbell and Leah Burns — we simply wouldn’t be on stage without you. Your hard work and passion have been outstanding. Leah also took the reins of the choreography, and we think everyone can agree it was brilliant.
Thank you to our wonderful vocal coach, Liz Falconer, for bringing such joy to the music and harmonies, and to our amazing band for being such a fantastic addition to the show. A big thank you as well to band manager Keith Falconer for his continued support. 🎶
We’re delighted to have Hamish Bailey on board as our MD and conductor — it’s been a pleasure working with you. Thank you also to The Stage Group for their ongoing support and for helping bring the magic to life on stage… or rather, Under the Sea! 🌊 🧜♀️
An extra special thank you to Martin and his team The Stage Group for continuing to support theatre in Fort William. Their wealth of industry knowledge helps us bring that magic to the stage.
We’re also incredibly grateful to Magpie Makes for our fantastic hoodies and T-shirts, and to Ross Henderson for setting up our ticketing system and managing the box office — no small task!
A huge thank you as well to Anna MacDonald and Sarah Davidson for helping our team source, make, and design props. Anna did a fantastic job creating the animals for Kiss the Girl. 🦆🦩🐸
