🦌 Just a 5-10 minute walk from Gerda of Glasgow!

Experience the canal calm when staying on Gerda, then explore the nearby Hamiltonhill Claypits Local Nature Reserve—an urban nature oasis you wouldn't expect so close to the city centre.

If you're lucky, you might spot what their wildlife cam recently caught: a deer fawn in the forest!

We've loved our gentle walks through the Reserve and the amazing views of Glasgow from the top. We've also enjoyed volunteering with the Green & Clean Team when we can—though sadly we'll miss the next session this Sunday, 15 February at 11:00 (meeting at the Applecross entrance). If you're local and fancy getting involved, it's a lovely way to give back!

Huge thanks to all the volunteers at Hamiltonhill Claypits Local Nature Reserve who've created this beautiful resource for our community.
