Drymen Community Development Trust - September Meeting on Tuesday 29 September, 7.30 at Drymen Village Hall

Our first meeting, following June's AGM and Community Workshop, is next Tuesday. We have lots to discuss, not least the ideas for the village that came out of the AGM workshop.

You are welcome to come along to any of our monthly meetings, including this next one. They are on the last Tuesday of the month (with no meetings in July, August and December). We would really value hearing your thoughts on our current and future activities and projects. Please do come along!

Join us on Thursday 24th September at 7.30pm within Drymen Village Hall to enjoy a presentation on, "Scotland: the global history - 1603 to the present", by Professor Murray Pittock. Murray will tell us about how, for a small country, Scotland has a global reach.

Normally, I would tell you a little about our speaker. But in Murray's case, there's so much that Murray has achieved, I suggest you visit his website to learn more: https://murraypittock.com/ .

Perhaps, history is not your 'thing'. However, this is an opportunity not to be missed to see, hear and speak with one of Scotland's most knowledgeable and passionate historians.

Membership of Drymen History Society is £12 per year, and if you are not a member, it's £5 per meeting. So, come along and enjoy the presentation.
