It’s a great location for golfing holidays with several courses close by including The International Loch Lomond Golf Club, Buchanan Castle Golf Club and The Carrick Golf Club. For those who enjoy hillwalking are spoilt for choice with the West Highland Way right on the doorstep and Ben Lomond, which is the most southerly of the Munros. The east side of Loch Lomond can be reached within minutes were you can hop aboard for a cruise around the Islands of Loch Lomond or take to the water for one of the many water sports on offer. Families just love or location as Blairdrummond Safari Park, Go Ape Tree Top Adventure, Loch Lomond Sealife centre and Castle Redknock Trekking center are all within a 20 minute drive. Have you booked the first Sunrise Goosewalk of the New Year with next weekend?

Saturday 11th January, from 7am-10am at RSPB Loch Lomond Gartocharn.

These guided tours around the Loch Lomond Nature Reserve get booked up very quickly, and they’ve just announced the first event of 2025, so if you’ve previously missed out, or want to give this as the perfect Gift Experience for a nature lover or bird watcher in the family, then now’s the time to get booked in!
As dawn breaks, watch thousands of geese take flight from their overnight roosts on the loch and from surrounding areas, as they fly off to their daytime feeding spots. We’ll guide you to a viewpoint at the shore of Loch Lomond, where you can immerse yourself in the early morning wildlife spectacles.
This walk is approximately 2.5 km each way offering opportunities to connect with nature and capture stunning moments along the way.
It will be dark on the way down to the loch shore. We recommend wellingtons or sturdy walking boots and don’t forget to dress warmly! The crisp morning air by the loch can be very chilly.

DELAYED OPENING OF OUR CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL ON SATURDAY 7TH DECEMBER

The festival will begin at 12pm tomorrow due to forecasted early morning high winds. Previously due to open at 10am and run until 5pm, the festival will now begin at 12pm and run until 6pm.

Safety is always our priority so this delay and extension means that everyone can still come and have a magical Christmas experience safely!

Sunday will be as advertised and run from 10am to 5pm.

We look forward to welcoming you tomorrow for some festive fun!

All our stores are full of great gifts and some amazing Black Friday offers, Loch Lomond Leisure are running boat tours as well as bike, pedal boat and motorized boat hire, and Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre is welcoming visitors.
